Dear all,
Like most of the UK we've been hit by a cold spell. We've even had some snow! We spent the afternoon knitting and watching the first Harry Potter film. Then we went to see the sheep next door:
Where are they? (This is the view from our kitchen window - you know, where I saw them cross the street the other day)
They are hiding behind George! (George enjoyed the snow. He insists that it is his natural habitat, but he grew up in an Ikea store).
Ah, there they are. Fine sheep, but cold.
Afterwards we went back inside and started our Christmas decorations. We put up the tree (but it needs more lights):
We assembled the pyramid:
We decorated the fishbowl:
And then we sat down and knitted again:
You know what my favourite tree decoration is?
The Christmas goat! It was made as a group effort many many moons ago, and surfaces every Christmas. It went missing last year (and we missed it greatly), but it's back now, and not much worse for wear!
Happy first Sunday of Advent.
